In the third quarter of 2025, the top news and magazine applications on the Android platform in Latin America showed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. saw a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at around $36.8K by late July, followed by a gradual decline, closing at about $29.6K. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 458.5K in early September, with active users peaking at 44.3M in the same week.

Noticias Locales, published by NEWSDELIVER LIMITED, experienced a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 90.6K and dropping to 46.1K by the end of September. Revenue remained low, peaking briefly at $115 in mid-August. Active users showed a slight rise in early September, reaching over 1.5M.
